CD Peintre came to life through the vision of its founders, Marco Massiah and Brigitte Beauchamp, who laid the foundation for a company specializing in commercial and residential painting. In 2012, the arrival of Miguel Massiah as a partner marked a significant turning point, bringing new services like epoxy application and floor preparation while expanding the company’s digital presence.

Since its beginning, CD Peintre has combined traditional know-how with innovation, gradually building a solid reputation in the Gatineau and Ottawa region. Its commitment to quality and respecting deadlines has allowed it to successfully complete major projects in the commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors. Since starting out as a qualified painter in 1984 and founding his own company in 1989, Marco Massiah has embodied excellence and innovation in the construction field. His professional journey is marked by a resilient ability to overcome industry challenges. Thanks to his unwavering commitment to high-quality personalized service, Marco has propelled his company to success.

His strategic vision and leadership were recognized during his involvement with the Quebec Construction Association, where he played a crucial role in shaping policies that define the future of the industry.

Marco is also a key player in sector development, actively contributing to several influential committees. Holding a Gold Seal certification in project management, he also has extensive experience as an estimator, skills that distinguish him as an accomplished CEO.

Passionate about knowledge transfer, Marco is dedicated to training the new generation of leaders, ensuring a robust and dynamic succession for the family business he built. His commitment to perpetuating the company’s values ensures not only continuity but also the constant evolution of his legacy in the construction sector.

From an early age, Miguel spent his free time following in his father’s footsteps in the business. He worked on the construction sites as well as in the paint shop owned by Marco and Brigitte. Over time, he acquired knowledge about the products used in the trade and experience in project execution and management. At the age of 14, Miguel already showed discipline and perseverance by obtaining his black belt in Jiu-Jitsu. Added to these qualities, he is self‑reliant and responsible, and has a good sense of leadership. Miguel studied administration at La Cité Collégiale and is very passionate about the business world. Always on the lookout for new technologies, he brings a breath of fresh air to the company. In 2014, he became the company’s third shareholder, and since then, he has held the position of director of operations. Miguel has great ideas for the future of the company and is preparing to take over the reins.

In recent years, Brigitte has set up a human resources department, focused on strengthening the corporate culture through skills development, the implementation of work-life balance measures and the promotion of women in the construction industry.

With her warm, welcoming and dynamic personality, Mélanie holds the position of Human Resources Manager. She has completed professional training in accounting and is studying business management on a part-time basis. Having held various positions within the company, Mélanie has an inventory of technical and practical knowledge in the fields of painting, sales, administration and management. Her empathetic side brings to the company a great ability to listen to the needs of the workforce, the company and the industry in order to develop innovative solutions for each situation.

Frédérique joined the CDPeintre team in March 2017. She has a diploma in secretarial studies and work experience as an administrative assistant. As the company has grown, Frédérique has filled a number of positions including accounting clerk, payroll clerk and manager of special projects, such as the organization of the golf tournament. She stands out from the others by her organizational and computer skills, and her resourcefulness. Since the creation of separate departments, Frédérique holds the position of executive assistant. Her main tasks come from the immediate requests of the company’s directors. Since October 2018, Frédérique sits on the board of directors of the Amicale des Personnes Handicapés Physiques de l’Outaouais, an organization that benefits from the profits raised during the annual CDPeintre golf tournament.

Maxime started with the company in 2011 as an apprentice painter and worked his way up through the ranks until he obtained his journeyman’s certificate. His numerous trainings and certifications, both in health and safety and in workforce and project management, make him a reliable, knowledgeable and conscientious project officer. Maxime, in addition to his experience and technical skills, shows great leadership that allows him to carry out, with his teams, the projects he manages to the satisfaction of his clients.

With more than 10 years of experience in the technical field of painting and customer service, as well as proven experience in plans and estimates, Nicolas is responsible for managing the estimation department at CDPainting.

A person of conviction, integrity and strong will, he is responsible for the initial customer contact and the communication of information to our project management team. He actively participates in the development of the company. Always looking for new challenges, he loves to expand his knowledge.
